Stay on top of Medicare Part D

The RSVP Office at Henry County Health Center is hosting a Medicare Part D Check-Up Event on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 20-21. SHIIP volunteers will be available to help people compare Part D plans for 2012.

Medicare eligible individuals may change their Medicare Part D plan for 2012 or enroll in Medicare prescription drug coverage (Part D) if they haven?t done so only during the time period of Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. The advantage may be a financial savings for the enrollee.

Appointments are required for this event. Call SHIIP at 800-351-4664 to schedule an appointment.

Those participating will need to bring their Medicare card, current Part D plan card and a list of medications from their pharmacy, which includes drug name, quantity and dosage.
