Stutzman in first place at Paralympics
LONDON ? Fairfield archer Matt Stutzman moved past Jiri Klich of the Czech Republic today at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
Facing Klich in an elimination match of the men?s individual compound open archery competition, Stutzman won by a score of 6-5.
Stutzman was ranked No. 1 at the conclusion of Thursday?s preliminary round of the competition, scoring a 685. His second half score of 345 was the highest of ...

LONDON ? Fairfield archer Matt Stutzman moved past Jiri Klich of the Czech Republic today at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
Facing Klich in an elimination match of the men?s individual compound open archery competition, Stutzman won by a score of 6-5.
Stutzman was ranked No. 1 at the conclusion of Thursday?s preliminary round of the competition, scoring a 685. His second half score of 345 was the highest of the day.
Stutzman is now off until the quarterfinal round Sunday.
According to the Paralympics website, www.london2012.com/paralympics, Stutzman would face the other USA athlete, Dugie Denton, in the quarterfinal round with eight still shooting for the gold.
