Sustainable Living Coalition to host chamber mixer Thursday in Fairfield

The Sustainable Living Coalition in Fairfield and the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce are collaborating on a “Member Mixer” to introduce the public to the work the coalition is doing.

The Member Mixer will be from 4-6 p.m. at the Eco Barn north of Fairfield near the intersection of Lotus Lane and 185th Street.

The event will showcase the coalition’s mission and projects.

“Come take a tour of the building and grounds and hear about the Fairfield Garden Initiative,” stated a news release from the SLC. “We'll have free plants for all guests along with table displays and short talks about our other programs and community partners. Joel Garretson of East Grove Farms will bring a quarter cask of his incredible Bumbleberry Meade. Finger food aplenty.”
