SUV strikes deer
A vehicle-deer accident Sept. 9 caused $8,000 damage to a 2005 GMC Yukon.
According to the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Stephen Keith Johnson of Alburnett, was traveling north on U.S. Highway 218 near the intersection of Highway 218 and 287th Street. A deer ran in front of the vehicle causing the Yukon to strike the deer in the grill area.
No injuries were reported.
