Swan gazing
Thanks to a tip from Ledger reader Ron Meyers, the swans on a local pond were found preparing to rest, and had not taken flight. Of the eight on the pond, five had their heads tucked under their wings, two were diving for food and one spread his wings while admiring his reflection in the water. They apparently were just resting for a few hours as they did not remain long.
