Swedesburg church presents second of 3 organ concerts

Upcoming is the second of three organ concerts at the Swedesburg Lutheran Church, this one focusing on varied Christmas organ music.

The concert will take place virtually on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m.

There will be an online provision for free-will donations, or they can mail to the church as well at P.O. Box 88, Swedesburg, IA 52652.

The first concert presented just before Thanksgiving was well received. Swedesburg Lutheran thanks the community for the great support and comments.

The concerts are a fundraiser for a major renovation of the church's 1928 Bennett organ which is considered a local treasure.

The program will end with a period of questions and answers about the upcoming organ project.
