Sweet Corn Festival 5K, 10K race results
In the photo at left, Kelly Lange of Mt. Pleasant finishes the 10K (6.2-mile) road race on Saturday morning at the West Point Sweet Corn Festival.
Lange was the first female across the line in her age group, 20-29, with a finish time of 49:54.
The overall female winner was 17-year-old Alyssa Stickfort with a time of 44:12.
The winner on the men?s side was Kevin Brueck, 43, with a time of 36:10.

There were, overall, 59 participants in the race, and the runners were from Iowa, Illinois, and even Kansas.
The Ft. Madison Community Hospital sponsored the 10K, as well as a 5K, during the Sweet Corn Festival.
The female winner in the 5K, which had 291 participants, was 14-year-old Sarah Steffensmeier with a time of 21:33. Isaac Steffensmeier, 17, won the men?s side of the 3.1-mile race with a time of 16:25.
