Sylvia Marie Harrison, 82, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at her home.

Harrison was born December 18, 1932, in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Julius A. and Gertrude Knudsen Johnson. She grew up in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She attended Parsons College in Fairfield.
She married C.R. (Bob) Harrison on June 14, 1953.
Harrison was a stay at home mother, and later worked at the ASCS office in Fairfield. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
Harrison is survived by two sons, Doug (Mary) Harrison, of Mt. Pleasant; and Dave Harrison, of Arvada, Colo.; two daughters, Connie (Bob) Boyer, of Fairfield; and Cindy (John) Naveira; of Burbank, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and one brother Leo (Rose) Johnson, of Ogden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Carlton; Ed; Bob; George; and Harold Johnson.
Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
