Sylvia Marie Harrison

Sylvia Marie Harrison, 82, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the First

Lutheran Church in Fairfield with Rev. Stacy Grau officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m., Tuesday at the

Church. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Memorials have been established to: T.T.T., the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center Endowment Fund or to the First Lutheran Church.

Harrison was born December 18, 1932, in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Julius A. and Gertrude Knudsen Johnson. She grew up in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She attended Parsons College in Fairfield.

She married C.R. (Bob) Harrison on June 14, 1953.

Harrison was a stay at home mother, and later worked at the ASCS office in Fairfield. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Harrison is survived by two sons, Doug (Mary) Harrison, of Mt. Pleasant; and Dave Harrison, of Arvada, Colo.; two daughters, Connie (Bob) Boyer, of Fairfield; and Cindy (John) Naveira; of Burbank, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and one brother Leo (Rose) Johnson, of Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Carlton; Ed; Bob; George; and Harold Johnson.

Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
