A two-vehicle accident in front of Hy-Vee Food Store Wednesday resulted in an estimated $4,000 damage to two vehicles. A two-vehicle accident in front of Hy-Vee Food Store Wednesday resulted in an estimated $4,000 damage to two vehicles. According to the accident report, a 1993 Ford Ranger, owned and operated by Robert George, Olds, was attempting to make a left turn from Hy-Vee?s west exit onto Washington Street when he failed to observe a 2003 Buick operated by Melissa Chipman, Burlington, causing a collision. Chipman had been traveling east in the inside lane of Washington Street prior to George pulling into her lane of traffic. No injuries were reported, and George was cited for failing to yield upon entering a through highway.
