A taekwondo class took advantage of the wonderful weather Thursday afternoon to hold their class outside in Central Park in Mt. Pleasant. A taekwondo class took advantage of the wonderful weather Thursday afternoon to hold their class outside in Central Park in Mt. Pleasant. The class usually meets in a building on West Washington Street near the Faith Christian Outreach Center. However, in the summer they practice outside a few times. The school is called the Family of Phoenix School and participants range in age from preschoolers to senior citizens. The class meets on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the year.
