This has been a year like no other for our staff. The teachers have been flexible, adaptable and resilient. At each challenge this year, they have met it and owned it making the experience for the students in their care the best it could be under the circumstances.
“You learn what people are made of when facing a crisis.” That is so very true of our teaching staff in Fairfield. Every hurdle encountered, a solution was found.
I truly feel that there is not an obstacle that our teaching staff could not overcome. Thank you, teachers, for all the hard work you are doing.
Our staff has learned new ways to reach students. There has never been a year where they greet students with a “6-foot” distance, or a smile is hidden behind a mask, yet the connections and relationships happened.
The dedication from the teaching staff is genuine, and their passion for the students and families they serve is strong.
Teachers are one of the unsung heroes as they are trying to provide instruction in a new and different way across several mediums at the same time while facing the same trying times as the rest of us.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Reach out to teachers, and let them know your gratitude for all they are doing.
Thank you, Fairfield teachers and staff. You are super heroes in my book
