WASHINGTON — The third iteration of Washington’s annual Farm to Film Festival last weekend was a success, according to organizers.
F2F Board Member Samantha Meyer said the event saw considerably better attendance this year, and a more diverse age range than in 2023 and ‘24. All in all, she said the weekend was a blast.
“The extra programs that we had this year were super well-attended, that was really fun,” she said. “Everybody came with the purpose of attending those, so that’s always nice when everybody in the crowd is there for that specific thing, and didn’t just happen upon it, it was really good.”
Other organizers provided an attendance tally from those events, with anywhere from 44-93 audience members at each. The same chart said volunteers clocked a total of 261 attendees to the array of independent films screened over the weekend around downtown.
Farm to Film Board President Lyle Moen said a total of 18 filmmakers came to town for the festivities, adding that all gave Washington “rave reviews.”
