The Collective Iowa to host Summerfest on Saturday

The Collective Iowa will host a celebration on Saturday, June 22 called Summerfest, featuring food and live music.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offer “delicious food, refreshing drinks, artisan products and lively music” according to the business’s flyer. Steve and Michaela McLain will perform from 1-3 p.m.

The Collective Iowa is located at 400 N. Second St. in Fairfield. It houses the following businesses: The Bakehouse Iowa, Breadtopia, Inc., Taco Dreams, Marmalade Sky, Hedgeapple Kombucha, Snow Nouveau, Tableboards by Spinella, Deep Green Machine (builder's maker space).

The Collective Iowa also provides a market for other local companies to sell their products, such as: Scream (ice cream), Pickle Creek oils and vinegars, Veraison Wine Bar, Tealight Teas, Great River Maple syrups, Fishback & Stephenson, Jefferson County Ciderworks, Midwest Microgreens.
