Permanent tables in Central Park ? sounds like an idea for Howard or Chautauqua Park, where there are picnic tables. The benches in Central Park are for reflecting, resting or eating a quick bite. The city has permitted outside eating at some of the surrounding restaurants, where people can meet their friends, or it?s a short walk to Howard Park. Why trash a landmark?
