Three car/deer accidents occur within 50 minutes
It was car versus deer day in Henry County on Oct. 13.
Henry County Sheriff?s deputies investigated three such accidents that day, all occurring within a 50-minute span.
The first occurred at 7:27 p.m., in the 1500 grid of U.S. Highway 34 when Jeremy Corbin, 43, Lockridge, struck a deer crossing his path with his 2005 Pontiac. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000 and there were no injuries reported.

The first occurred at 7:27 p.m., in the 1500 grid of U.S. Highway 34 when Jeremy Corbin, 43, Lockridge, struck a deer crossing his path with his 2005 Pontiac. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000 and there were no injuries reported.
Twenty-nine minutes later (7:56 p.m.), Tasha Vencil, 21, Mt. Pleasant, was driving a 2010 Volkswagen in the 2700 grid of Franklin Avenue when a deer crossed her path. The car sustained $4,000 in damage and there were no injuries.
Finally, at 8:17 p.m., Earl Lee, 61, New Hope, Minn., was in the 1800 grid of U.S. 218/27 when his 1989 Cadillac struck a deer crossing his path. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and there were no injuries associated with the collision.
