David Bausick, owner of D and J Floor coverings out of Colorado, stands in the hot tub of the AmericInn under construction near the by-pass to attach tile to the wall in the pool area. Bausick said his company contracts with the builder and has done many projects of this kind. According to finishing foreman Jeff Johnson, the carpet will be laid on the second floor this week, with delivery of fixtures and furniture to begin Monday and continue for a couple of weeks. The new motel is scheduled to open in March, probably soon after the middle of the month. ?With all the tools and stuff it doesn?t look like we are that close, but at this stage things go pretty fast,? said Johnson.
