Proficient driving skill by WACO Community School District bus driver Chris Alvine prevented a potentially dangerous situation Friday, Feb. 24. Soft gravel and mud pulled a bus from the roadway near Crawfordsville, but Alvine was able to keep the bus upright. Forty-two students were on the bus during the morning route to school and only one minor injury was reported.
