Tonda Leah (Palmer) Denly, 79, of Farmington, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at the Farmington United Methodist Church with Rev. Goldie Laymon, Rev. Dawn Butler, and Rev. Michael Elrod officiating. Following the service, her body will be cremated. Burial will be at the Greenglade Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call after 1 ...

Tonda Leah (Palmer) Denly, 79, of Farmington, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at the Farmington United Methodist Church with Rev. Goldie Laymon, Rev. Dawn Butler, and Rev. Michael Elrod officiating. Following the service, her body will be cremated. Burial will be at the Greenglade Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call after 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at the Farmington United Methodist Church. The family will meet with friends from 5 p.m., to 7 p.m., that evening at the church. A memorial has been established for Lee County Health Department Hospice.
Denly was born July 28, 1936, in Keokuk, the daughter of Kenneth Ezra and Mary Elizabeth (Rooney) Palmer. On July 1, 1956, she married Richard Eugene ?Dutch? Denly in Santa Monica, Calif.
Denly was a member of Farmington United Methodist Church. She worked as a bank teller at Keokuk Savings Bank and Pilot Grove Savings Bank. Denly was also a child-care provider.
Denly is survived by her husband, Dutch; one son, Kevin (Debbie) Denly, of Farmington; two daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Jury, of Ingalls, Kan.; and Angela (Doug) Moore, of Donnellson; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marla (Helen Edwards) Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jack and Neil Palmer.
