Tornado test to take place Wednesday

A statewide tornado test will be conducted on Wednesday, March 27, at 10 a.m., in conjunction with Severe Weather Awareness Week as coordinated by the National Weather Service.
The drill will test all communications and dissemination systems connected to the counties' Emergency Alert System. Sirens and a WENS message will be set off during that time. In the event of actual severe weather, the test will be postponed until Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m.
The test will conclude at 10:30 a.m.
