Towne becomes president of Iowa CPA association

WEST DES MOINES ? Janice S. Towne has become 2012-2013 president of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Towne is owner of Riverview Financial Group PC in Keosauqua Last year, she served as vice president of ISCPA.

May 11, Towne emceed the morning educational session, which featured Keith E. Luchtel and Scott A. Sundstrom of Nyemaster Goode PC in Des Moines. At the afternoon annual business meeting, Towne and nearly 130 ISCPA members met to conduct business, elect officers and directors, present awards and begin a new ISCPA year.

ISCPA represents approximately 4,300 CPAs who work in public accounting, business, industry, government, not-for-profit organizations and education.
