Trojan ninth-grade volleyball topples Washington
The Fairfield ninth-graders remained undefeated on the season with a 25-15, 25-20 win over Washington last Thursday.

Molly Ryan and Mackenzi Harwood led the freshman offense with three kills apiece, and Harwood also had 14 digs to lead on the defensive end. Emma Kuehl and Delanie Neil served up four aces each, while both Kelsey Roberts and Kuehl provided five assists.
The Trojan freshmen (2-0) are now set to host a quadrangular at the high school today. The Trojans will be competing against Pekin, Columbus Junction and North Scott. The JV team will face Pekin and Columbus Junction today in its home triangular at Fairfield Middle School.
