Troy Allen Sievers

Troy Allen Sievers, 49, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Iowa City.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Cary and the Rev. Dick Larson officiating. The body has been cremated.

Family visitation and a meal at the Elks Lodge will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mr. Sievers? family. Cards and memorials may be sent to 603 S. 33rd St., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. Sievers was born Jan. 1, 1963, in Key West, Fla., the son of Larry and Norma Green Sievers.

Survivors include his companion: Lisa Hemm of Fairfield; his mother and stepfather: Norma and Gary Harvey of Fairfield; his grandmother: Edith Morrow; one sister: Kristine Clark of Mason City; one brother: Dave Harvey of Urbandale; five children: Lindsey Sievers Upton of Norfolk, Va., Tierney Sievers of Granby, Colo., Colton Sievers of Ames, Amber Wild and husband John of River Falls, Wis., and Amanda Hemm of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren.
