Truck accident in Riverside hospitalizes two

Two minors were injured in an accident with a Riverside Grain and Feed truck at Highway 22 and Enterprise Drive in Riverside Thursday, according to a police report from the Iowa State Patrol.
“(The truck) failed to yield to the jeep and made a left turn onto Enterprise Drive in front of vehicle two (which) struck vehicle one in the front passenger area and came to rest in the roadway,” the report said.
The police report said both of the injured people were transported to University of Iowa hospitals. Lloyd Richards, 85, was cited for a failure to yield.
