Truck hits deer on Grand Avenue
A truck-deer accident on Friday, Dec. 18, resulted in an estimated $5,000 worth of damages in a truck owned by a Mt. Pleasant man.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a maroon 2007 GMC Sierra truck, owned and operated by Curtis Faul, of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling north on South Grand Avenue in Mt. Pleasant. As Faul approached Grand Avenue?s intersection with East Bell Drive, a deer entered the ...

A truck-deer accident on Friday, Dec. 18, resulted in an estimated $5,000 worth of damages in a truck owned by a Mt. Pleasant man.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a maroon 2007 GMC Sierra truck, owned and operated by Curtis Faul, of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling north on South Grand Avenue in Mt. Pleasant. As Faul approached Grand Avenue?s intersection with East Bell Drive, a deer entered the roadway and struck the front end of the truck.
Faul was not injured in the collision.
