Truck strikes post in Walmart parking lot
An accident in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, Jan. 28, resulted in damages to both a truck and a concrete post.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a 2015 Dodge Ram, owned and operated by Ronald Overberg, of West Point, was driving into the Walmart parking lot from the north. The truck made a turn around a concrete post and turned too sharply.

An accident in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, Jan. 28, resulted in damages to both a truck and a concrete post.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a 2015 Dodge Ram, owned and operated by Ronald Overberg, of West Point, was driving into the Walmart parking lot from the north. The truck made a turn around a concrete post and turned too sharply.
The truck struck the post on the driver?s side. Damage to the truck was listed at $3,000 and damage to the pole was $100. There were no injuries.
