Truck strikes utility pole in Coppock
A single-vehicle accident on Wednesday, Jan. 20, in Coppock, resulted in the arrest of the driver of the vehicle and injuries to a passenger.

A single-vehicle accident on Wednesday, Jan. 20, in Coppock, resulted in the arrest of the driver of the vehicle and injuries to a passenger.
In a press release from the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, it was report that deputies responded to an accident in the 200 block of Coppock Road. It was discovered that a 2006 Dodge Dakota truck, operated by Byron Linton, 29, of Olds, was traveling south on Coppock Road when he lost control and the vehicle struck a utility pole.
Linton was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense, a serious misdemeanor; and failure to maintain control, a simple misdemeanor. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to the Henry County Health Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Damages were estimated at over $1,500.
