Turning grapes into wine
Kate Ridinger, of Mt. Pleasant, helps pick the first harvest of grapes at the Airport Road Vineyard and Winery, in Mt. Pleasant. The grapes were white La Crescent variety. Volunteers picked again later in the week and will pick at least two more times over the next few weeks.
