Two accidents occur due to icy roadways
Icy conditions on Monday, Feb. 15, resulted in a pair of accidents in Henry County.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident at 2:24 a.m., on the 2700 grid of Franklin Avenue.
An investigation revealed that a 2003 Jeep, owned and operated by Maria Nunez Campos, 41, of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling south on Franklin Avenue when she lost control due to the icy conditions. ...

Icy conditions on Monday, Feb. 15, resulted in a pair of accidents in Henry County.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident at 2:24 a.m., on the 2700 grid of Franklin Avenue.
An investigation revealed that a 2003 Jeep, owned and operated by Maria Nunez Campos, 41, of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling south on Franklin Avenue when she lost control due to the icy conditions. The vehicle rolled over in the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at over $1,500.
At 4:44 a.m., deputies were called to the 3000 grid of Highway 218 for a single-vehicle accident.
According to the sheriff office?s report, a 2008 Ford truck, operated by Elvis Pasic, 33, of Waterloo, was traveling south on Highway 218 pulling a utility trailer. Pasic lost control of the truck due to an icy roadway, the truck entered the median and the trailer rolled over coming to rest in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $1,500.
