Two accidents occur in county
Deputies from the Henry County Sheriff?s Office investigated a pair of accidents this week.
Officers were summoned Oct. 24 to the 1500 grid of Franklin Avenue. Vicki Graber, rural Wayland, reported striking a deer in the roadway, causing an estimated $1,400 damage to her vehicle. No injuries were reported.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Oct. 23 in the 400 block of W. Van Buren St., in Salem.

Deputies from the Henry County Sheriff?s Office investigated a pair of accidents this week.
Officers were summoned Oct. 24 to the 1500 grid of Franklin Avenue. Vicki Graber, rural Wayland, reported striking a deer in the roadway, causing an estimated $1,400 damage to her vehicle. No injuries were reported.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Oct. 23 in the 400 block of W. Van Buren St., in Salem.
According to the accident report, Brian Anderson, of Iron Mountain, Mich., backed out of a driveway, striking Henry Fuller?s vehicle. Fuller is a Salem resident.
Damage was estimated under $1,500 to the Fuller vehicle and no injuries were reported.
