Two MP men arrested, charged with assault
Two men were arrested in Salem on April 29, after deputies reported to the 200 block of South Maple Street for a report of an assault.
Following an investigation, Edgar Perez-Natareno, 31, of Mt. Pleasant, and Doniz Reyes-Cardona, 29, of Mt. Pleasant, were both arrested and each charged with serious assault, a serious misdemeanor.

Two men were arrested in Salem on April 29, after deputies reported to the 200 block of South Maple Street for a report of an assault.
Following an investigation, Edgar Perez-Natareno, 31, of Mt. Pleasant, and Doniz Reyes-Cardona, 29, of Mt. Pleasant, were both arrested and each charged with serious assault, a serious misdemeanor.
One subject was transported by ambulance from the scene to the Henry County Health Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Further charges are pending.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
