Two Mt. Pleasant men charged with sexual assault of a minor

Two Mt. Pleasant men have been arrested for the sexual assault of a minor.

Sean Neal Delacy, 38, of Mt. Pleasant was arrested on Saturday, July 18, following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse between Delacy and a six-year-old victim.

Delacy was arrested at his home, 905 West Washington Street, Apt. #25, and charged with four counts of sexual abuse in the second degree, class B felonies. Delacy is currently being held in the Henry County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Colton Turner, 20, of Mt. Pleasant, was also arrested after an investigation involving a sexual assault of a minor.

According to police reports, Turner had sexual intercourse over a period of time with a victim under the age of 15. As a result, Turner was charged with sexual abuse in the third degree, a class C felony.

Turner was also transported to the Henry County Jail where he is being held pending arraignment.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
