Two thefts reported in HC

Two thefts were reported in Henry County one week apart.
On Monday, July 15, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Cindy French of Hillsboro reported that sometime within the past two weeks, someone stole a battery from a vehicle parked in her driveway and replaced it with an older, unusable battery.
On Monday, July 22, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Kim Bittle, owner of the River Rock Cafe came into the Henry County Sheriff's office to report being a victim of theft sometime during the evening hours the night before. Bittle reported the theft was from the business cash register drawer and did not see any signs of forced entry. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
