Two vehicles collide north of Washington

WASHINGTON - A head-on collision resulted in one man being cut out of his vehicle by the Washington Fire Department.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Washington Fire Department and EMS was called to the intersection of 220th and Riverside Road, north of Washington.
Firefighters cut the man out of the car, and Washington County Ambulance transported the person from the scene.
Both vehicles sustained severe damage. Traffic was reduce to one lane while the wreckage was cleared.
No further details were available late Tuesday afternoon.
