Utilities to host special meeting
Trustees of the Mt. Pleasant Municipal Utilities will continue discussion on a proposed new water rate structure during a special meeting Tuesday, July 24, at 5 p.m. at the utilities office.
The meeting will be preceded by a 4 p.m. work session to review the proposal to increase water rates and meter charges over a three-year period, beginning Oct. 1, 2012.
A public hearing on the matter is set for 5:15 p.m. July 24.
