Van Buren County Fair set to begin Wednesday

KEOSAUQUA ? The Van Buren County Fair gets under way Wednesday with the Junior Miss Contest at 6:30 p.m. and the Queen Contest at 7 p.m. in the Roberts Memorial Center on the fairgrounds.

      The Junior Miss contestants include:

      Brooke Barclift, daughter of Rusty and Judy Davidson and Rich and Becky Barclift;

      Hannah Birch, daughter of Mindie and Stewart Donald;

      Ariel Duncan, daughter of Stanley and Vicki Duncan;

      Darby Gilbert, daughter of Stuart and Kathy Gilbert;

      Shelby Gordy, daughter of Kevin and Lee Ann Gordy;

      Kati Helling, daughter of Bill and Angela Helling;

      Alicia Schalla, daughter of Jon and Roxanne Schalla;

      Bethany Topping, daughter of Carl and Ernestine Topping;

      Amber Wilson, daughter of Crystal and Charley Weaver and the late Wayne Wilcox; and

      Makenzie Zeitler, daughter of Matt Zeitler and Lori Zeitler.

      Contestants in the Van Buren County Fair Queen Contest include:

      Lauren Brown, daughter of Kevin and Margie Brown;

      Morgan Caves, daughter of Marilee and Brian Caves;       Braden Crist, daughter of Bob and Laura Crist;

      Emily Greenfield, daughter of Mike and Deb Greenfield;

      Cassidy Moore, daughter of Raymond and Sheri Moore;

      Katie Peck, daughter of Rodney and Sherry Peck;

      Bridget Pforts, daughter of David Pforts and Deb Swan; and

      Kelcy Whitaker, daughter of Clark and Norma Whitaker.
