Vedic City anniversary set
MAHARISHI VEDIC CITY ? Maharishi Vedic City will celebrate 10 years as a city Monday.
The anniversary will be marked with speeches by Mayor Bob Wynne, Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy and members of the Vedic City city council starting at 8:30 p.m. at the Peace Palace, 1750 Maharishi Center Ave.

MAHARISHI VEDIC CITY ? Maharishi Vedic City will celebrate 10 years as a city Monday.
The anniversary will be marked with speeches by Mayor Bob Wynne, Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy and members of the Vedic City city council starting at 8:30 p.m. at the Peace Palace, 1750 Maharishi Center Ave.
A fireworks display, lasting roughly 15 minutes, will commence around 9:30 p.m. The fireworks will be launched west of the Peace Palace and should be visible throughout Vedic City.
Limited space for those with blankets or lawn chairs is available around the Peace Palace. City officials also recommend parking along the east side of Maharishi Center Avenue and Invincible America Avenue to view the fireworks.
If it rains Monday, the fireworks will be re-scheduled for Tuesday.
