Vedic City may ban sale of guns
The Maharishi Vedic City City Council is considering an ordinance that would ban the sale of firearms within city limits.
The issue appeared on last week?s council agenda after Jefferson County Sheriff Jerry Droz inquired about firearm regulations in the city. Droz was completing local review of an application for a federal firearms license.

The Maharishi Vedic City City Council is considering an ordinance that would ban the sale of firearms within city limits.
The issue appeared on last week?s council agenda after Jefferson County Sheriff Jerry Droz inquired about firearm regulations in the city. Droz was completing local review of an application for a federal firearms license.
Droz said an individual with a Vedic City address has applied to collect replicas. The license would permit the buying and selling of firearms.
