Vehicle hits propane tank, no injuries reported
No injuries were reported after a vehicle hit a propane tank.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department was called to Kempker?s Grand Rental Station located at 1405 East Washington Street about a report of a vehicle that struck a LP Tank that was fenced in.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle hit a propane tank.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department was called to Kempker?s Grand Rental Station located at 1405 East Washington Street about a report of a vehicle that struck a LP Tank that was fenced in.
Police reports indicate a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, owned by Cassidy Moyle, of Mt. Pleasant, was parked next to the main building. The jeep came out of gear and rolled backwards, across the parking lot and struck a fence post and concrete. The fence was protecting the large LP tank. There was no gas leak. There was no one in the vehicle.
Damage to the jeep was estimated at $2,000 and damage to the fence and posts were estimated at $3,000. No injuries were reported.
