Vehicle loses control, injuries reported
On Sept. 27, the Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident at Oasis Avenue and 170th Street with injuries reported. Henry County Sheriff?s Deputies, Winfield Rescue and Henry County Ambulance responded to the call. On Sept. 27, the Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident at Oasis Avenue and 170th Street with injuries reported. Henry County Sheriff?s Deputies, Winfield Rescue and Henry County Ambulance responded to the call. An investigation determined that the driver, Joseph Waterman, 19, of New London, attempted to navigate the turn at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle. The driver, along with two passengers, were transported by the Henry County Health Center Ambulance Crew to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Waterman was cited into court for Failure to Maintain Control of a Motor Vehicle.
