Vehicle rear ended at intersection
Mt. Pleasant Police investigated a two-vehicle accident Oct. 6 at the intersection of Main and Washington streets.
The police said Brandi Simons was driving a 2014 GMC westbound and stopped for vehicles turning.
When Simons stopped, her vehicle was struck from behind by a 1989 Chevrolet, operated by Larry Heitmeier III, who also was westbound. Heitmeier was cited for speeding and total damage to the vehicles was ...

Mt. Pleasant Police investigated a two-vehicle accident Oct. 6 at the intersection of Main and Washington streets.
The police said Brandi Simons was driving a 2014 GMC westbound and stopped for vehicles turning.
When Simons stopped, her vehicle was struck from behind by a 1989 Chevrolet, operated by Larry Heitmeier III, who also was westbound. Heitmeier was cited for speeding and total damage to the vehicles was estimated at $1,500.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office and Henry County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
