Vehicle strikes deer on Highway 218
Henry County Sheriff?s deputies investigated a vehicle and deer accident June 26 near mile marker 45 on U.S. Highway 218, north of Mt. Pleasant.
According to the accident report, Evangeline Behling, of Carthage, Ill., reported striking a deer with her vehicle.
No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
