Vehicles collide at MP intersection
Mt. Pleasant Police responded to a two-vehicle accident May 19 at the intersection of South Locust and East Warren streets.
According to the accident report, a 2005 Pontiac G6, driven by Austin Proper of Mt. Pleasant, struck a 2001 Buick Century, driven by Jessica Whaley of Mt. Pleasant. Proper was stopped on Warren Street and Whaley was traveling south on Locust Street.

Mt. Pleasant Police responded to a two-vehicle accident May 19 at the intersection of South Locust and East Warren streets.
According to the accident report, a 2005 Pontiac G6, driven by Austin Proper of Mt. Pleasant, struck a 2001 Buick Century, driven by Jessica Whaley of Mt. Pleasant. Proper was stopped on Warren Street and Whaley was traveling south on Locust Street.
Police said Proper failed to yield the right-of-way to Whaley. Total damage was estimated at over $1,800.
