Vehicles collide at Pilot Travel Center
A two-vehicle accident on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Pilot Travel Center led to charges filed against one of the drivers.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department, which investigated the accident, said a 1996 Dodge, operated by Christian McDonnell-Groenbeck, of Davenport, was backing from a parking spot when it collided with a 1999 Nissan, operated by Nicolas Vazquez, of Washington.

A two-vehicle accident on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Pilot Travel Center led to charges filed against one of the drivers.

No injuries were reported at the scene and combined damage to the vehicles was listed at $2,000.
McDonnell-Groenbeck was cited for no insurance.
