No charges were filed following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant.
According to the accident report from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, the collision occurred at the intersection of South White and West Warren streets.
It was determined that a 2006 Toyota, owned and operated by Herbert Wester Sr., of Mt. Pleasant, was stopped at the stop sign facing east on Warren Street.
A 2008 Nissan, owned and operated by Elizabeth Johnson, of McKenzie, Tenn., was southbound on White Street and had the right of way.
The Toyota pulled out from the stop sign failing to see the Nissan. Both drivers and witnesses advised the street was confusing at the time because of drivers pulling out from the hospital in the roadway. An ambulance also was driving around traffic, using its siren while going to an emergency call.
There were no injuries.
