Verizon Store robbed in MP; suspects still at large

Two suspects are still at large after robbing the Verizon Wireless Store at 111 West Monroe Street in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, June 3, around 2:35 a.m.
The suspects were in the store for less than a minute and stole numerous items. Two stores in Ft. Madison were burglarized approximately an hour later, according to a news release from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.
The suspects were caught on camera in Mt. Pleasant and Ft. Madison. Video footage of the suspects in Mt. Pleasant shows them outside the store for a couple minutes and traveling past the location.
