Veterans Day closes some businesses on Monday
Veterans Day, a national holiday is Sunday. Government agencies and some businesses will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.
Closed Monday:
? Fairfield City Hall.
? Jefferson County Courthouse.
? Fairfield Public Library.
? Local banks, including MidWest One, First National, Iowa State, Libertyville Savings and Community First Credit Union.
? Senior centers.
? U. S. Post Office.

Veterans Day, a national holiday is Sunday. Government agencies and some businesses will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.
Closed Monday:

? U. S. Post Office.
Other businesses will remain open.
Waste Management will stay on its regular schedule with the usual Monday pick-ups.
Areas public schools are open and holding classes.
Roosevelt Community Recreation Center is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
The Ledger publishes a paper on Monday.
