Veterans Day closings

Banks: Washington State Bank, Hills Bank, Federation Bank, CBI and Community First Credit Union will all be closed for the day.

Cities: City halls in Washington, Wellman, Kalona, Riverside and Brighton will be closed. City officials in Ainsworth and Crawfordsville were not available for comment.

County offices: All offices of the Washington County Courthouse, as well as Washington County Public Health will be closed to observe Veterans Day.

Libraries: The Washington Public Library will be closed, but the Kalona Public Library will remain open with regular hours.

Henry County

Banks: All county banks will be closed for the day.

Cities: City halls around Henry County will be closed for Veterans Day.

County offices: All offices of the Henry County Courthouse, along with Henry County Public Health will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.

Libraries: All public libraries in the county will be closed.

Jefferson County

Cities: Fairfield City Hall will be closed for Veterans Day. However, the Roosevelt Recreation Center will remain open.

County offices: All offices of the Jefferson County Courthouse, both those belonging to the state and to the county, will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.

Libraries: The Fairfield Public Library will remain open on Veterans Day.
