Volunteers with Community Orchard delay help days for heat
Volunteers with the Fairfield Community Orchard will not work in the orchard today because of the extreme heat.
The volunteers initially planned to ask residents to help finish installing the drip irrigation system today, but instead the volunteers are asking residents to help with that project Saturday and next Thursday, Sept. 5.
