WACO to host hearing on solar energy

WAYLAND ? A public hearing on a lease with an option to purchase solar energy will be hosted by the WACO School Board during its regular meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Elementary School.
Other tentative agenda items include approval of lease with option to purchase solar energy bid; approval of administrative staff salaries; approval of master contract with WACO Education Support Association; approval of voted PPEL election; and approval of textbooks and handbooks.
The meeting will be the final regular session for Dr. Darrell Smith, who is retiring a second time from the district as of June 30.
