WACO track teams compete in Washington
WASHINGTON ? The WACO boys? and girls? track and field teams competed in the Demon Relays yesterday.
The Warrior boys? sprint medley team of Justin Freyenberger, Christian Roth, Alan Hesseltine and Klinton Garrett placed first in its event, finishing with a time of 3:58.90.
It was WACO?s only top finish at the meet, but the teams had a number of other placewinners.

WASHINGTON ? The WACO boys? and girls? track and field teams competed in the Demon Relays yesterday.
The Warrior boys? sprint medley team of Justin Freyenberger, Christian Roth, Alan Hesseltine and Klinton Garrett placed first in its event, finishing with a time of 3:58.90.
It was WACO?s only top finish at the meet, but the teams had a number of other placewinners.
Taking second on the boys? side was the shuttle hurdle team of Brett Hesseltine, Dylan Carson, Freyenberger and Roth.
Roth placed third in the 110-meter high hurdles, and Kendall Leichty claimed a fourth place finish with a throw of 41-4 1/4 in the shot put. Two other fourth-place finishes came from the 4x100 team of Freyenberger, Roth, Tyler Ayers and Brett Hesseltine (48.13 seconds) and the 4x400 team of Alan Hesseltine, Freyenberger, Roth and Garrett (3:46.20).
On the girls? side, the team was led by Brooke Hammond?s second-place finish in the 400-meter dash, finishing with a time of 1:05.86, as well as silver medals from the 4x100 and the thrower relay.
The 4x100 team of Morgan Dugger, Rosemary Skriver, Jaelyn Unternahrer and Katelyn White finished in 56.95 seconds, and the thrower relay of Leah McElhinney, Kalicia Miller, Emma Eubanks and Mariah Jepson finished in 1:09.27.
Rosemary Skriver placed third in high jump with a 4-10 finish, and the 4x100 team of Jalyssa Jepson, Aaliyah Brown, Tympest Crawford and Erika Leichty also finished third (1:22.83).
The 4x800 team of Madison Roth, Jennie Greene, Gaby Wagler and Hammond took fourth place in 10:59.13, and the 4x200 team of Dugger, Unternahrer, Kaylie Horak and Skriver also placed fourth (2:04.50).
Horak also had an individual fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:18.54.
The WACO track and field teams will compete again on Monday at Lone Tree.
